1. Choose the Correct Outer Packaging

You want one that fits the items nicely and securely with extra internal padding but also remains as light as possible to reduce your postage costs.

2. Add Padding Inside the Package

Use bubble wrap, tissue paper, or foam inserts to keep your fragile items safe. If you’re concerned about the sustainability aspect of your packaging, you can use recycled paper or old bits of newspaper.

3. Seal the Package Tightly

Seal your package using high-quality tape to ensure that it cannot be easily opened. This is important for any business, but especially if your packages tend to contain items of high value. You want to minimize the risks of the contents of the package falling out and getting lost as much as possible. Securely taping up your packages also makes it harder for thieves to steal anything.

With any valuable item, you should always cover yourself. You can select specific postage options that guarantee delivery. The courier will inform you when the package arrives at its destination, and a signature is required to confirm delivery.
