Nitin Khanna: A Self-Made Success Story Who Gives Back To His Community

If there is one thing people love, it is a person who has become successful financially giving back to the community that helped them along the way.

Whether this involves helping aspiring entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, assisting charities with causes such as homelessness or hunger, or perhaps having a willingness to speak with various local groups about many important topics of the day, these and other acts of kindness are always welcome in today’s world.

In the case of world-renowned entrepreneur Nitin Khanna, the good news is he does all of the above and much, much more.

Born and raised in India, Nitin Khanna chose to come to the United States to pursue his dreams of higher education. Enrolling at Purdue University, he excelled at industrial engineering, eventually earning an advanced degree in the field.

However, despite his success in academics, he and his brother Karan still had a dream of owning their own business. Though he decided initially to accept a corporate job after college, Nitin never let his dream disappear.

As fate would have it, Khanna and his brother eventually created their own business in the high-tech industry, Saber Corporation. Specializing in designing software and computer systems, the timing to start their business could not have been better.

With controversy regarding the safety and accuracy of U.S. voting machines following the previous presidential election, Saber Corporation was poised to take advantage of this opportunity.

Through hard work and innovation, Nitin Khanna was able to secure the first contract for Saber Corporation. Working with the State of Oregon, Saber Corporation was put in charge of designing new voting systems for the state, which would result in much safer and accurate voting results.

After accomplishing this, it was clear to many Saber Corporation was indeed the best in the industry. Thus, not only did other states now ask for the company’s services but so did countries around the world.

While high-tech was his ticket to success, it was by no means the only area in which Nitin Khanna would ultimately succeed. With the growing trend in the United States toward legalizing cannabis, he eventually found his way to a new position as CEO of Cura Cannabis.

A company specializing in CBD oil, he was able to help the company focus its efforts on bringing the various health benefits of CBD oil to the many people worldwide who would benefit from the company’s products.

Upon achieving success yet again in the business world, Nitin Khanna decided it was time to put his time, talents, and money to good use in other areas, especially philanthropy. Thus, he started working with numerous groups in the Portland, OR area in an effort to improve the lives of others.

One of his proudest achievements has been working with The Initiative. Aimed at helping female entrepreneurs start new businesses in Portland and the surrounding area, Nitin’s willingness to mentor potential entrepreneurs has been critical in the success of the program.

Along with this, he has also given much time and money to the nonprofit organization Our Giving Table. With its purpose of eliminating childhood hunger, it is a cause that is near and dear to the heart of Nitin, since he himself has four children.

From his success with Saber Corporation to his charitable work or his current projects that include creating award-winning wines and producing award-winning movies, it is clear Nitin Khanna is indeed a modern-day Renaissance man.

As for his upcoming projects, Nitin Khanna is always willing to explore new and exciting ideas. Whatever he chooses, there is little doubt it will prove to be quite a success.
