Cryptocurrency is a new industry and it’s believed to have a lot of potential for the future. Cryptocurrency trading became a massive trend in the 2010s, with bitcoin having a big uprise and many people gaining lots of money with their small past investments.

As a new industry, it also had an impact on the celebrity world with a big number of famous stars investing in it in different ways.

There are a lot of famous people from different communities and future world-changers like Elon Musk that are publicly known to express their interest in this industry. Some prefer trading bots such as Bitcoin Trader. Would Elon Musk invest in Bitcoin Trader? We are not sure.

The famous hip hop star from Atlanta, Donald Glover otherwise Childish Gambino, is also known as one of the biggest supporters of cryptocurrency, in particular bitcoin.



In one of his interviews, he said that although some people are skeptical about the future of cryptocurrency, he truly believes in its potential, adding that this way makes more sense.

A very big star from the sports community and one of the best boxers of all time, Mike Tyson directs his own cryptocurrency company Mike Tyson Bitcoin which offers bitcoin ATM, cryptocurrency trade and many other things related to cryptocurrency. Tyson believes that in a near-future bitcoins and cryptocurrency are going to be part of our everyday life and monetary systems.

Snoop Dogg

The fellow rap star is also publicly known to be a supporter of the cryptocurrency. In 2013, Snoop Dogg sold copies of his album for 0.3 BTC, which was before the massive public interest that surrounded bitcoin. It is not known how many copies he sold or how much money he could have earned for that album.

Snoop has also known for his posts in social media regarding cryptocurrency as well as his appearance at a crypto party hosted by XRP Community Night.

NAS

Just like Snoop Dogg, there are many other musicians particularly rappers who own bitcoin. One of them is the famous MC NAS who in an interview with Coindesk in 2014 emphasized that he has invested in Coinbase. He also stated that the Bitcoin industry will one day be as big as or even bigger than the internet.



Nas is known to have a very close friendship with the big American businessman and technology entrepreneur Ben Horowitz. Nas claimed that Ben made him “open his eyes to the Bitcoin industry”. Moreover, through Horowitz, Nas became very much more involved with cryptocurrencies, raising millions for BlockCypher, a company that offers a variety of services on the Bitcoin market.

Mel B

Mel B was the first artist from the UK who started to market her music using bitcoin. She signed a partnership with the company CloudHashing to accept cryptocurrency as a payment for her single in 2014.

CloudHashing is one of the biggest companies in the cryptocurrency industry that offers bitcoin-mining contracts. The artist expressed her excitement during a press release stating she loves how technology in the 21st century eases people’s lives.
